2026-27 VETERAN COMMUNITY GRANTS PROGRAM NOW OPEN

Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke is encouraging local organisations to apply for funding through the 2026-27 Veteran Community Grants Program.
Applications are now open, offering up to $10,000, with $205,000 available to improve facilities and equipment that support veterans and their families.
“Our veterans have made significant sacrifices in service to our nation. This funding helps ensure their stories, service and wellbeing continue to be honoured and supported,” Ms Cooke said.
“I encourage local groups who support our ex-service men and women across the Cootamundra electorate to take advantage of this funding opportunity and consider how it can support projects that benefit our veteran community.”
This year's program includes a new infrastructure and equipment funding category, providing grants of up to $10,000 to improve facilities and services that benefit local veterans.
Ms Cooke said the new infrastructure and equipment category would help organisations improve the facilities and resources available to veterans across the electorate.
“Investing in infrastructure and equipment can make a real difference in ensuring these facilities remain welcoming and fit for purpose.”
The Veteran Community Grants Program supports initiatives that strengthen the connection between veterans and the broader community while preserving the important history of military service.
