GET READY FOR THE COWRA SPRING SHOW

Tuesday, 13 October 2026

Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke is encouraging families across the region to head to the Cowra Spring Show this weekend and enjoy everything that makes a traditional country show such a special community event.

The annual Cowra Show celebrates agriculture, community spirit and country life, featuring a packed program of entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages. The 2026 Show will feature amusement rides, livestock competitions, agricultural displays, showjumping, live entertainment, food vendors, sideshow attractions and spectacular evening fireworks.

Ms Cooke said the Cowra Spring Show is one of the region’s most family friendly events on the calendar.

“The Cowra Spring Show has something for everyone, making it the perfect family day out,” she said.

“Whether you’re enjoying the rides, meeting the animals, watching the competitions or spending time together, it’s a wonderful opportunity to build lasting memories.”

Ms Cooke believes country shows are the heart of the communities across the Cootamundra electorate.

“They showcase our agricultural heritage, honour local talent and bring people together from across the region in a fun and friendly environment,” Ms Cooke said.

The Cowra Spring Show brings together local families, businesses, volunteers and community groups to celebrate everything that makes Cowra special.

“There’s a real feeling of excitement when the Show is on, and I encourage families to make the most of it,” Ms Cooke said.

“The volunteers and organisers work incredibly hard to deliver an event that is enjoyable and welcoming for people of all ages.

“I congratulate the Cowra Show Committee and its volunteers for continuing to deliver an event that showcases the very best of the community.”

The Cowra Spring Show is on this Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October.
