BUSINESS BUS IS MAKING A STOP IN NARRANDERA

Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke says the Business Bus is coming to Narrandera, and small business owners should hop on board.
The NSW Government's Business Bus is visiting small businesses across NSW to provide specialist advice to business owners looking to become more productive and profitable.
Small business owners in and around Narrandera can hop on board the bus next week where they will receive independent advice from experienced business advisors.
Ms Cooke said that in 2017 the Business Bus visited more than 160 towns, covering in excess of 56,000 kilometres, and this year is set to be even bigger.
“And in the current financial year from July 2017 to March 2018 the Business Bus has already visited more than 120 communities across the state, topping 27,600 kilometres,” she said.
“The Business Bus is part of the NSW Government’s multi-million dollar Business Connect program which supports small businesses to thrive in regional and metropolitan economies.
“It’s really great to see this bus coming to communities like Narrandera and bringing expert advisors to help small business with everything from marketing and financial advice to business planning, digital and creative work,” she added.
"It provides small businesses with access to independent, experienced advisors, plus specialists in the digital and creative sector.
"Speaking to an advisor can help a business operator take the vital next step, whether they're just starting out, wanting to ensure their business is sustainable or aiming to go global,” she said.
NSW Deputy Premier, Minister for Small Business and Minister for Regional NSW, John Barilaro, said the bus’s experts would share advice on small business strategies including marketing and financial advice and business planning.
“We are investing $30 million in Business Connect over four and a half years, with 70 per cent of services to be delivered to regional businesses,” he said.
The Business Bus will be at 18 Bolton St, Narrandera (in front of Coles) on Monday 13 August between 9am and 3pm.
