STEPH DELIGHTED BY PROGRESS ON TEMORA HOSPITAL OPERATING THEATRE UPGRADE

Member for Cootamundra, Steph Cooke MP, today gave an update on progress at Temora Hospital’s operating theatre upgrade.

“Murrumbidgee Local Health District has advised me that a group of experts has been working together to finalise how the operating theatre design will accommodate the hospital’s needs,” she said.

“Medical and nursing clinicians, hospital staff, engineers and architects have been working together to make sure that this facility is at the leading edge of medical best practice, and I am delighted that their collaborative efforts are bearing fruit.

“A workshop took place last week to finalise the design, which means we are on course to see construction work starting early next year.

“That’s a great way for Temora to head into 2018, everybody will be able to benefit from this hard work.”
