COMMUNITY INVITED TO DISCOVER LOCAL GARDENS AT COOLAMON ROTARY GARDEN VIEWING
Thursday, 15 October 2026
If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend activity, Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke encourages you to explore some of the district’s most beautiful gardens at the Coolamon Rotary Garden Viewing on Sunday, October 18.
The annual event gives garden enthusiasts and families a unique opportunity to enjoy a selection of stunning gardens while supporting the valuable work the community organisation does.
Registration will take place at the Coolamon Community Hall on Dr Buchanan Drive, where visitors can collect maps and wristbands before heading to the participating gardens between 10am and 4pm.
“The Coolamon Rotary Garden Viewing is a fantastic opportunity to slow down, enjoy the beauty of our region and appreciate the hard labour and creativity of local gardeners,” Ms Cooke said.
“If you’re looking for inspiration or wanting to have a relaxed day out with family or friends, the Garden Viewing is the perfect event for everyone.
“Rotary members contribute countless volunteer hours to supporting nearby communities, and events like this allow that work to continue.
“I congratulate the Rotary Club of Coolamon and all participating garden owners for opening their gates and sharing their beautiful spaces with the community.”
Visitors are encouraged to make a day of it by exploring Coolamon’s shops, cafes and attractions while enjoying the garden trail throughout the district.
