EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF THE GRENFELL MODIFIED TRACTOR PULL THIS WEEKEND
Wednesday, 14 October 2026
Locals are encouraged to head to Grenfell this weekend for the highly anticipated Grenfell Modified Tractor Pull, a family friendly event showcasing horsepower and entertainment.
Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke is encouraging the community to support the event at the Grenfell Showground on Saturday 17 October from 3pm to 10pm.
The annual event brings together competitors and onlookers from across the state to watch powerful modified tractors battle it out on the track, delivering an action packed afternoon and evening.
“The Grenfell Modified Tractor Pull is a fantastic display of imagination and strength,” Ms Cooke said.
“It’s an event that attracts tourists from far and wide and provides a great boost for local tourism.
“If you’re a motorsport enthusiast, a farming family or looking for a fun day out, there is something for everyone to enjoy.”
Alongside the thrilling tractor pull competition, a wide array of attractions will be on offer, including food and market stalls, family entertainment, face painting, games, and a large sandpit play area for the kids.
Grandstand seating and picnic areas are also available across the showground.
The event will also feature local artisan stalls with handmade items, artwork, fresh produce, homemade jams, local honey, and baked goods, helping local businesses and community groups.
The tractor pull demonstrates the strength of volunteer led events in the Cootamundra electorate.
“Events like the Grenfell Modified Tractor Pull don’t happen without the dedication of volunteers and community organisers,” Ms Cooke said.
“I congratulate the Grenfell Show Society for their hard work in delivering what will no doubt be another outstanding event.
“I encourage families to make an evening of it, enjoying everything on offer and experience one of the most exciting community events on the Weddin calendar.”
Tickets are available online or at the gate on the day, with food, refreshments, merchandise and family activities available throughout the event.
The event is expected to draw large crowds, so arrive early to enjoy the full program.
